#CB99talks 109 (Holiday Weekend)

There was not a lot going on this past weekend but lets take a look back at Cheyanne Vlismas vs. Cory McKenna and how McKenna looked in her performance. Holly Holm makes her return against another fighter making a return in Yana Kuntiskaya. What will come of the winner of this bantamweight fight? Sticking with bantamweight, who will Amanda Nunes face next year? The selection is slim but there’s a couple of good names for her to face. And last, Erin Blanchfield takes a leap up in the rankings taking on Taila Santos in February for a possible title eliminator! Why the sudden jump in competition for Blanchfield? Is the UFC trying to push new talent or do they see something specific in the rising contender?? Lets discuss it so make sure you tune in and subscribe!

#CB99talks 108 (Flyweight Fluster)

Hey WMMA fans we are back with another one to discuss the division known as the flyweight division across the Bellator and UFC organizations. It seems we have a little dilemma of sorts in both divisions that is worth discussing just to get some understanding on what’s going on. First let’s discuss Cris Cyborg and how she looked in her boxing debut. Then let’s take a look at the two flyweight fights for Bellator 289 and discuss the performances of both Juilana Velasquez and Denise Kielholtz. Lastly it is Christmas time so I have to give everyone my Christmas list “Five straw weight fights I want in 2023.” So tune in fans, give it a listen, like, share, and subscribe!!!

Also Angela Hill has rebuilt her game and is looking to make a name for herself by stopping any prospects from getting past her. Can she take the momentum any higher? Finally lets talk about the skill gap between the top level strawweights and the unranked fighters. Who out of the unranked strawweights can become a threat to the elites? Lets talk about it tonight so tune in, subscribe, and enjoy!!
