But first today we have some sad news to report One FC fighter Victoria Lee has passed away at the tender age of 18. So we pay our respects to this young warrior. Leah Letson has decided to call it quits from MMA to move on with her life. Choosing retirement when you are signed to one of the biggest promotional companies for MMA can be difficult. Cynthia Calvillo will be taking on Loopy Godinez so we will see if she can make it back down to 115. Also we will go over the rules for an exciting fight coming this Friday between Stamp Fairtex and Anissa Meksen. Last lets talk Valentina Shevchenko and the frustration she feels about not having anyone call her out. And being left without an opponent in the first quarter of 2023. Well WMMA fans we are at the end of another year! It’s been a good year for the sport I can’t complain we definitely had some good fights, good cards and great finishes this year. Trying to pick sometimes can be very difficult because from Invicta FC, Combate Global, to UFC there have been some memorable performances from many of the ladies. So this year I broke up my memorable categories a bit different and had to give respect where it was due to more than one fighter. The show was live so after I went through my review I had some call ins from my WMMA family! There was not a lot going on this past weekend but lets take a look back at Cheyanne Vlismas vs. Cory McKenna and how McKenna looked in her performance.
